Zürich Oktoberfest 2009
October 9 - November 7, 2009

The traditional Zürich Oktoberfest on the Bauschänzli is open to the general public every day for four weeks, from 11am to 11pm.
The culinary offering ranges from liver dumpling soup to white sausages, pretzels and apple strudel. A Bavarian ten-person orchestra provides the right atmosphere.

Basel Autumn Fair

October 24 - November 8, 2009 

The Basel Autumn Fair is an experience for young and old, and more than your usual parish fair. It is held on seven squares in the city centre of Basel and in an exhibition hall. The numerous thrill rides, the culinary diversity from roasted almonds to the popular grilled sausages, or the colourful market on the Petersplatz offer something for every visitor.
