SWISS operates a highly varied fleet with a total of 86 aircraft – 25 for longhaul and 53 for medium- and shorthaul routes, and a further 8 that are operated on behalf of (wet lease) SWISS.
The fleet currently comprises seven different kind of aircraft: For long distances, SWISS counts on Airbus A340, A330-300 and A330-200, for shorter flights on the Airbus A320 family (A319, A320, A321) and Avro RJ 100.
