The purchase price of your flight ticket includes the transport of a certain amount of baggage on the flight with SWISS. Guidelines concerning this baggage have been drawn up in accordance with various factors, such as target destination and travel class.

EXCESS BAGGAGE
If your baggage exceeds the information above in size or weight, it is classified as
excess baggage. The
excess baggage rates apply in this instance.
Pieces of baggage heavier than 32 kg are not checked in at the counters. You can either divide the weight over several pieces of baggage, (free cardboard boxes and plastic bags are available at the airport), or check in heavy pieces of baggage as freight. (

BAGGAGE CONTENTSIt is unwise to check in fragile, valuable or perishable items as part of your baggage. Keep medical documents, medicines, keys and samples in your
hand luggage. Do not take any
