The Geneva Economy Light fare is available on all SWISS operated, non-stop flights from/to Geneva, except to/from Barcelona, Moscow, New York, St. Petersburg and Zurich. Further, all Edelweiss Air flights, Codeshare partner flights and and connecting flights on SWISS via Zurich are excluded.
The Geneva Economy Flex fare is available on all SWISS operated flights from/to Geneva, also in connection with flights on SWISS via Zurich. The fare is not available to/from Barcelona, Moscow, New York, St. Petersburg and Zurich. Further, all Edelweiss Air flights, and Codeshare partner flights excluded.
Geneva Economy Light and Flex fares are combinable for out- and inbound flights. Please mind the baggage allowance for each fare and route.
You can combine Geneva Economy Light fares with all other SWISS fares, but not with fares of other airlines. The Geneva Economy Flex fare can be combined with other airline fares (according to the fare conditions).
The Geneva Economy Light fare is not available for Group bookings (more than 10 passengers). All group bookings need to be made on the Geneva Economy Flex fare.
The Geneva Economy Light fare is non-rebookable. Nevertheless, you can reissue your complete ticket to a Geneva Economy Flex fare for your booked flights, which provides you with more flexibility regarding rebooking and refunds.
The Geneva Economy Flex fare allows rebooking at now cost; in case your current booking class is not available on your new flight, you will have to pay the difference to the higher booking class fare.
You can rebook and re-issue your ticket up to three hours before departure online, as long as you have not checked in yet. A rebooking can also be made at the airport until check-in closure against a fee of CHF 30 (or equivalent in local currency) per booking.
The Geneva Economy Light fare is non-refundable. In case you need more flexibility, please chose a Geneva Economy Flex fare at the time of booking or re-issue your ticket online on swiss.com.
SWISS offers you a seat assignment at no charge, regardless of the fare booked. Choose your seat at check-in from 23 hours before departure (Online, mobile, Check-in machine).
The Geneva Light fare does not include a checked baggage allowance; you will find further information on this topic under baggage.
In case you have booked the Geneva Economy Light fare for both, in- and outbound flights, and would like to check in bags, you need to upgrade your full ticket (in-/outbound flight) from the Geneva Economy Light to a Flex fare and re-issue your ticket.
