Information sessions and familiarization days allow you to learn more about career possibilities aboard an aircraft, straight from the source. In addition, SWISS regularly presents its rich portfolio of career opportunities at training fairs.

Cabin crew member info evening

Here you can learn all of the important details about a career as a cabin crew member. You gain an insight into the everyday routine and learn about the training and the requirements you must fulfil.

The event is held several times a year in Kloten and Geneva. It targets interested people aged 16 and over. Participants must register in advance.

Here you learn all of the important details on the profession of pilot. You gain an insight into the everyday routine and learn about the training, career opportunities, and the requirements you must fulfil.

    Registration for pilot information evening

This event targets young people who are interested in the profession of pilot or in cabin crew member training. Divided into two groups, the participants gain a deeper insight into their respective dream professions. All of these young participants tour the training centre, the operations centre, and a long-haul aircraft.

This half day event is for young persons between eleven and sixteen years of age and is held several times a year in Kloten. Participants must be registered. Multiple entries are not possible for space reasons.

Agenda cabin crew member experience day

  1. The participants arrive at Swiss Aviation Training
  2. Programme at Swiss Aviation Training (welcome, tour of the in-flight service mockup and door trainers)
  3. Tour of a long-haul aircraft (cabin, crew restroom, etc.)
  4. Visit to the operations centre (tour of the crew service centre, cabin briefing, product hub)
  5. Drinks in the Arrival Lounge at Zurich airport and collection of the participants

Agenda pilot experience day

  1. The participants arrive at Swiss Aviation Training
  2. Programme at Swiss Aviation Training (welcome, tour of the simulators and door trainers)
  3. Tour of a long haul aircraft (including cockpit and crew restroom)
  4. Visit to the operations centre (tour of the met office, control centre, pilot briefing, and much more)
  5. Drinks in the Arrival Lounge at Zurich airport and collection of the participants
