Oliver Evans named Head of Passenger Sales

Oliver Evans has been appointed Head of SWISS’s new Passenger Sales business unit. He assumes his new duties, which he will perform in parallel to his current management of the company’s Swiss WorldCargo business unit, on January 1.

Evans, 49, who is a French-British dual national, brings extensive experience in all areas of sales and marketing and of the air transport sector to his new position. As Executive Vice President Passenger Sales, he will be charged with ensuring the business unit’s further expansion and focused development.

Oliver Evans was appointed Head of Swiss WorldCargo in December 2002. He came to SWISS from BAX Global, where he was serving as Vice President Global Sales Europe, Middle East & Africa. An experienced business-to-business sales executive, he had previously held various positions around the world for KLM from 1987 to 2001, culminating in his appointment as Vice President Strategy & Alliances for KLM Cargo. He is a fluent speaker of French, English, German, Dutch and Italian.
