Lorenzo Stoll appointed as SWISS’s new Head of Western Switzerland

Swiss International Air Lines has named its new Head of Western Switzerland. Lorenzo Stoll, who is 41, will assume the newly-created Geneva-based position on 1 October. Stoll is currently Chief Commercial Officer at Nestlé Waters Switzerland, based in Vevey.

Lorenzo Stoll (41) has been appointed to the newly-created position of Head of Western Switzerland at Swiss International Air Lines. In his new capacity, which he assumes on 1 October, Stoll will be in overall charge of SWISS’s entire expanded Geneva organization which, after the establishment of the new crew base, will extend to some 300 personnel. In addition to heading SWISS’s marketing, sales and business development in French-speaking Switzerland, Stoll will also be responsible for developing and managing the new Geneva operating base.

Lorenzo Stoll comes to SWISS from the Nestlé organization, where he has held various executive functions with a strong focus on customer and marketing affairs over the past 12 years. In 2007 he assumed responsibility for the global sales of Nestlé Waters, and two years later he was appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Nestlé Waters Switzerland.

After graduating from the Lausanne Hotel School, Lorenzo Stoll initially served as Sales & Marketing Manager for Montreux-Vevey Tourism before joining the Nestlé Group. A resident of Mont-sur-Rolle, he has strong roots in Western Switzerland and extensive contacts throughout the region.
