SWISS launches new campaign to bring people together

Every day, SWISS flies thousands of people all over the world. Some return soon; others stay away longer. And some never come back, and are subsequently missed by their family and friends. As the airline of Switzerland, SWISS wants to bring these people back together. And it’s launching a new Swisswide campaign today with this aim in mind. “Seats for Switzerland” invites Swiss residents to submit their own personal story to win one (or more) of 300 free SWISS tickets that will enable them to be reunited with family or friends abroad.

From today onwards, anyone living in Switzerland who would like to be reunited with a family member, a childhood friend or a youthful love abroad can apply for up to four of 300 tickets that SWISS is giving away. To do so, they must submit a story describing why they want to meet up again to www.swiss.com/for-switzerland. All the stories submitted will be reviewed by a four-member judging panel that includes singer-songwriter Bastian Baker and Stefan Regez, the editor-in-chief of Schweizer Illustrierte magazine.

Participants can also improve their chances of winning by encouraging family, friends and members of the public to vote for their story. Any entry that garners 50 or more votes will receive one extra judging panel vote. Entries must be submitted by Sunday 6 October, and can be voted on at www.swiss.com/for-switzerland until Sunday 13 October.

In conducting its new “Seats for Switzerland” campaign, SWISS is both reaffirming its close ties with the people of its home country and thanking them for their patronage. The campaign will be launched with the company’s first TV ad since its recent rebranding, and will be supported by various communications and collaborations throughout the country.
