Airport entry
SWISS operates from Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport. Departing passengers may enter the Terminal from any of the gates from 5-8.
Access through Gate 5 and 6 will be more convenient for passenger as its closer to Swiss counters on Row J. (Please check the airport Flight Information Screens).

As per the guidelines of Airport security (Central Industrial Security Force) it is mandatory for passengers to present the ticket itinerary along with the passport at the entry gate for access to check-in area. Passengers who do not hold this printout must contact Swiss International Air Lines office well in advance on +91 11 49638951 to +91 11 49638954.

Baggage screening
Passengers can proceed straight to the Check-in counters after entering the terminal and deposit the bags at check-in. No prior screening of bags before check-in is required.

Check-in
Check-in counters open only 4 Hours prior to departure of the flight. Passengers coming to the Airport earlier than the above mentioned time will not be allowed entry into the terminal building by the Security agencies.   

Counters on row J (might change on short notice) of which 1 counter is assigned for First Class/HON, 2 counters for Business Class passengers, 1 counter for Web Check-in / Baggage drop and 3 counters for Economy Class passengers open at 22:00hrs.

HON Circle member can check-in at our First Class counters.
Miles & More Senator, Miles & More Frequent Traveler and Star Gold passengers are entitled to check-in at the Business Class Counters.

check-in
Available from 21:30hrs on Row J (only one counter) for First, Business and Economy class.
Latest
check-in
First / Business Class - 60 minutes prior to scheduled time of departure.
Economy Class - 75 minutes prior to scheduled time of departure.
Web
check-in
Check-in online (Web Conformation Only) and avoid long queues. Collect your boarding pass / bag drop at web check-in counter.

Due to regulations in India home printed (web-check-in) boarding cards are not recognized by the Immigration authorities. Only a web confirmation will be printed out automatically and this then has to be exchanged for a boarding card at the Swiss International Air Lines’ ‘’WEB Check-in/BAG drop’’ counter at the airport.

Lounges
First Class passengers, HON Circle and Miles & More Senator, Star Gold members, Business Class Passengers, Miles & More Frequent Traveler will be provided with an Invitation at check-in, to use Premium Plaza and ITC Green Lounge located after the passport control and Security.

Immigration clearance
First and Business Class passengers can avail of FAST TRACK clearance from 4 dedicated immigration counters, each on departure and arrival. Passengers are requested to retain their boarding cards to show at immigration on arrival to avail FAST track clearance.

Security clearance
First and Business Class passengers can avail the FAST TRACK through dedicated / marked X-Ray machines.

Customs clearance
For all arriving passengers, customs clearance must be completed in Delhi, irrespective of the destination on the bag.

PRM (Passengers with reduced mobility) and unaccompanied minors (um) on departure.
Airport PRM/Unaccompanied minor helpdesk at Gate 8(Departures) with two parking positions reserved for vehicles (only PRM and not Unaccompanied Minor) next to gate 8.
