The competition is organized by Swiss International Air Lines AG (hereinafter "SWISS").
For reasons of readability, the male form has been chosen in the text; nevertheless, the information refers to members of both sexes.
By participating in the competition, the participant accepts the following conditions and confirms that he has read the privacy policy:
1. Participation
To participate in the competition, the participant must enter his or her contact details (name, email address and home address) on the corresponding landing page and confirm the terms and conditions of participation.
The competition begins on 28 July 2025, and ends on 3 August 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Participation in the competition is possible during the aforementioned period. Entries received after the competition end date will not be considered, regardless of the reason for the delay. The electronically recorded time of entry is decisive. SWISS is not liable for late entries and cannot be held responsible for technical transmission disruptions, including network, electronic, or computer failures.
Participation in the competition is free of charge and independent of any purchase or use of paid services. Any costs incurred by the participant as a result of participation that are beyond SWISS's control (such as the participant's personal online access) are the sole responsibility of the participant.
Participants are responsible for the accuracy of the contact details provided.
2. Eligibility
All natural persons residing in Germany who have reached the age of 18 at the time of participation are eligible to participate in the competition.
Each person is only entitled to participate once. Multiple entries are not permitted and will not be considered.
Employees of SWISS and other companies of the Lufthansa Group and their families as well as agencies commissioned by SWISS and their employees are excluded from participation.
3. Exclusion from the competition
SWISS reserves the right to exclude individual participants from the competition if there are justified reasons, such as violation of the terms and conditions, influencing the competition, manipulation, etc. Participants automatically registered by bots or other technical means will also be excluded from the competition.
If there is a reason for exclusion, prizes may be subsequently revoked and prizes already paid out or delivered may be reclaimed.
4. Profit
To celebrate Swiss National Day, August 1st, we're giving away a flight voucher for a flight to Switzerland worth EUR 600.00, as well as a voucher for one night's accommodation for two people, including breakfast, in a double room at the Rinderberg Swiss Alpine Lodge. The flight voucher can only be redeemed on flights from Germany operated by SWISS with an LX flight number (LX1-2999). Codeshare flights (LX3000-9999) are excluded. The flight voucher must be redeemed within 12 months of the date of issue. The hotel voucher is valid for 2 years.
5. Determination and notification of winners
The raffle will take place within 72 hours of the end of the competition.
SWISS will notify the respective winner by email. The right to the prize will be forfeited without compensation if the winner does not respond within 24 hours of SWISS's reply or if the prize cannot be delivered to the address provided by the winner.
6. Handing over the prize
The prize cannot be transferred, assigned, or exchanged. Cash payment is not possible.
The delivery of the prize depends on the type of prize.
7. Changes to the Conditions of Participation
SWISS reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Furthermore, SWISS reserves the right to terminate or interrupt the competition at any time. This applies in particular if there are reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned. In such a case, the participant has no claims against SWISS.
8. Disclaimer
a. Claims for damages against SWISS are excluded unless there is intent or gross negligence. SWISS and its respective legal representatives and vicarious agents are only liable for damages suffered by participants if the damages were caused intentionally or through gross negligence by SWISS, its legal representatives or vicarious agents. This limitation of liability does not apply to damages in the form of injury to life, limb or health. It also does not apply to the breach of material contractual obligations. In such a case, SWISS's liability is limited in amount and merit to such damages that were typical and foreseeable at the time the user agreement was concluded. A material contractual obligation is an obligation the fulfillment of which makes the proper execution of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance the contractual partner may fundamentally rely.
b. SWISS cannot guarantee the availability of the offer at all times.
c. SWISS cannot be held liable in any way for losses or damages arising in connection with the competition or a transmission error or other, particularly technical difficulties (e.g., overload) or data loss.
d. By participating in the competition, participants release SWISS from all claims, including claims for damages. All further rights and claims for damages of SWISS remain unaffected.
9. Early termination
a. SWISS reserves the right to cancel or interrupt the competition at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular if the proper conduct of the competition cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g., viruses in the computer system, tampering with, or errors in the hardware and/or software), due to manipulation of the participation process, or for legal reasons.
b. Participants’ claims for performance and damages in the event of premature termination of the campaign are excluded within the framework of the provisions of Section 9.a.
