The Baan Klang Nam is one of my favourite restaurants in Bangkok. It serves superb sea food, especially the best Tom Yam Kung, the typical Thai soup. The restaurant is in an old house and has a terrace facing the river. It's best to eat here in the evening.

I appreciate the Hilton Millennium Bangkok, because it is first centrally located. That's worth a lot in Bangkok. And secondly, the hotel has a bar on the roof and above all: The hotel offers a great breakfast that is delicious. For lunch and dinner there are buffet, depending on what you booked. The rooms are very nice and I also enjoy the swimming pool.

At Sukhumvoth Soi 11 there's a really superb tapas restaurant. But for me, the highlight is the side street: There you'll find many restaurants. This gives you a very wide choice of eating options, and the street is also for pedestrians only. It's really relaxing to sit outside there in the evening. There's also a few bars where you can get a nightcap. But it tends to be busy, so it's not really the quietest place in the centre of Bangkok. But what is quiet in this city?
