  1. Can I receive an invoice for my booked flight?

    We do not send out invoices. However, if you require an invoice for your business or as a private person, we can send you a new booking confirmation free of charge for up to 60 days after the ticket/document has been completely used. After these 60 days, we charge a fee of CHF 30.00 per transcation (maximum of five E-ticket confirmations). Please observe that you can use the E-ticket for invoicing purposes. It is deemed an internationally recognised receipt and can be submitted for reimbursement for expenses and with your tax statement. Please observe that no VAT is charged for international flights, therefore, no respective tax rate is indicated on the confirmation either.

  2. Do I need to reconfirm my flight?

    Reconfirmation of your SWISS flights is not required.

  3. Can I check for availability and fares without booking a flight?

    You can check flight availabilites and fares without finalizing a booking. The payment is only done in a last step, after entering your personal data.

  4. Flight tariff categories

    The letters B,E,G,H,K,L,M,Q,S,T,U,V,W,Y (Economy Class), C,D,J,P,Z (Business Class) and A,F,O (First Class) are used to indicate the different price categories in the different service classes. For example, they indicate the respective miles credited to our Miles & More participants. Furthermore, the letter is the abbreviation of the selected flight tariff the individual tariff provisions are based on.

  5. Where can I find the fare conditions for my booked tickets?

    You will see the tariff conditions for your chosen flight tariff during the booking process. They contain information on flexibility for changing or cancelling your flight. We suggest you make a note of them. Your SWISS Service Center will also provide you with information on your specific tariff conditions.
