Switzerland's many ski resorts promise a wealth of reliable snowfall during the ski season. The quality, beauty, and variety of our ski resorts mean that we as an airline are experts in the transportation of our passengers and their ski equipment. So grab your skis from the attic and enjoy!

Your ski and snowboard equipment travels for free*

SWISS has the experience and know-how of transporting your ski and snowboard equipment. Being the skiers' airline of choice we are happy to transport your first set of skis/snowboard and boots free of charge in addition to your standard free baggage allowance. Your standard free baggage allowance per person is 1 piece of max. 23kg in Economy Class* and 2 pieces of max. 32kg in Business Class.


*Free ski carriage is not applicable for travel on our Geneva Economy Light fares.

Free equipment carriage is provided for the following items:

  • 1 x pair skis, 1 x pair boots, 1 x pair ski poles, 1 x helmet, OR
  • 1 x snowboard, 1 x pair snowboard boots, 1 x helmet

Our convenient schedule to Switzerland

We have up to 203 weekly flights from London Heathrow, London City, London Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester to Zurich, Geneva and Basel – ideal for the skiing resorts of Crans Montana, Verbier, Zermatt and Saas Fee.

SWISS will offer up to 4 direct weekly flights from London Gatwick to Geneva between 12 December 2014 and 11 April 2015. Flights will operate on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Transport your baggage directly to your destination station

Make your journey as smooth as possible. With our Fly Rail Baggage service your baggage is transported from your departure airport all the way to your Swiss railway destination or nearest bus station.
