Job title SAP Coordinator
Where Basel
The Basel based part of the technical Division within SWISS will be transferred into an MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) organisation under Lufthansa Technics; the new company will be based on the existing organisation and from there further develop also into new business fields; we are looking for motivated people who want to be part of the creation of a professional IT department within the new company Lufthansa Technik Switzerland. The SAP Coordinator will have a key position inside IT Department to liaise the end users of SAP in Finance and HR departments of Lufthansa Technik Switzerland and our provider/supporter in Lufthansa Technik. His/her role will be to provide the 1st Level support and coordonates actions with our provider, but also to continuously improve the processes to meet the Business expectations. Further details will be given during the interview.
Duties
  • Reception and administration of all LTSW- related SAP messages (central SAP- telephone hotline and SAP- inbox) and monitoring provider’s performances according SLA’s
  • Ensuring SAP support from 1st level including problem analysis and implementation / addressing SAP operational support and delivery issues. This includes the interfaces to related applications also.
  • Support the users with all process-related issues, with an emphasis on commercial oriented fields (finance, controlling)
  • Perform simple tasks in an independent manner such as resetting a password or correcting time entries
  • Creation of suitable authorization profiles in response to any access-related problem (New transactions / Reports) and identifying integration issues and offering solutions including implementation
  • Coordination with external SAP Competence Centre and other third parties
  • Coordination with LH group (process redesign and change management)
  • Analysing and improvement of processes and organisational planning within Lufthansa Technik Switzerland
  • Special tasks (coordination of training courses, creation of an authorization overview etc.)
  • Documentation of User Cases for SAP-supported proceses
  • Leading projects through all phases for Lufthansa Technik Switzerland and liaise development/Test/Implementation together with external SAP Competence Centre (LHT)
Requirements
  • Previous experience as SAP 1st Level Support
  • Experience in commercial processes
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Global support experience required
  • Adaptable and responsive to change
  • Project management knowhow and adequate project management methods
  • Experience in the areas finance, controlling, consolidation. (Including customizing and interface coordination if possible)
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • German and English fluent, French welcome
