SWISS OFFICIAL CARRIER AGREEMENT  TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Preconditions
  1. At least:
    • 400 attendees expected at the event
    • 15% of these likely to arrive by air from overseas
    • 60% of them likely to arrive by air from within Europe (outside Switzerland)
  2. The request should be received by SWISS at least six months in advance of the event, and must be received in advance of any publications relating thereto.
  3. SWISS must be designated as Official Carrier and must be specified as such, together with the SWISS logo, in all publications relating to the event, including the event’s website (if applicable).
  4. SWISS must be provided with information on the event and its attendees (with a finalised list of attendees, sorted by country) at least one month in advance of the event.

Benefits offered by SWISS
  1. All event attendees will receive a discount of up to 25% on their SWISS flight. The discount applies to:
    • specific booking categories
    • SWISS flights to Switzerland
    • flights with an LX flight number operated by partner carrier.

    • The discount cannot be offered on group bookings.
  2. SWISS may also offer tickets to speakers or other invited guests, depending on the attendee numbers involved.


Handling of the SWISS Official Carrier Agreement
If SWISS decides to support your event by acting as its Official Carrier, your request will be passed on to the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau (SCIB), SWISS’s congress agency in Zurich.

Acting on SWISS’s behalf, the SCIB will:
  • draw up the Official Carrier Agreement (based on SWISS’s guidelines)
  • ensure that the special fare discounts are communicated to attendees
  • organise any tickets that SWISS has agreed to provide for speakers or other invited guests and
  • ensure that SWISS is suitably mentioned in all publications relating to the event, including the event’s website (if applicable).
