SWISS International Air Lines and Swisscom IT Services have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and begun contract negotiations for a partial outsourcing of internal IT services. The parties are striving to negotiate and sign the relevant contracts in the coming weeks.

SWISS employs an IT staff of 145. The actual number of employees who would be affected by the partial outsourcing is one of the topics under negotiation. The employees and unions were informed today about the intended partial outsourcing.

No further statements will be issued until the contract negotiations have been concluded.
