Swiss European Air Lines and the SWISS PILOTS Association, the union of Swiss European’s cockpit personnel, have concluded a new Collective Labour Agreement. The new accord is intended to be valid for three years.

After long and intensive negotiations, Swiss European Air Lines has reached agreement with the SWISS PILOTS Association on the content of a new Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) for the airline’s cockpit personnel. The new accord pays due and full regard to the ongoing restructuring concept and to the intensified competitive environment, and assures employees of a continuation of socially-acceptable working terms and conditions.   

Provided it is approved by Swiss European’s pilot corps, the new CLA will enter into effect on April 1, 2006, and will then be valid for a three-year period.
