SWISS is to add three new destinations to its European network under codeshare agreements with partner air carriers. Salzburg will receive direct service from Zurich in a codeshare operation with Cirrus Airlines; and Naples and Catania will be served under a codeshare agreement between SWISS and Air One.

SWISS is in the climb, and is further expanding its route network for its customers' benefit and convenience. Service will be introduced on the Zurich-Salzburg route from June 4 onwards. The thrice-daily weekday service, with a further Sunday flight, will be operated by Cirrus Airlines using Dornier 328 equipment, under a codeshare agreement with SWISS.

Italian-based Air One will be starting services from Zurich to Catania via Naples on May 1, using a Canadair CRJ regional jet. From June onwards, these flights will be operated as codeshare services together with SWISS. Naples and Catania will be served by one daily flight. The new connections further enhance the range of air travel available between Switzerland and Italy: SWISS customers already enjoy direct service to Rome, Milan and Venice.

The new direct services to Zurich from Salzburg, Naples and Catania offer customers attractive travel options both to Switzerland and, via SWISS's further route network, to more than 70 destinations all over the world. SWISS's Zurich hub features short connecting times for optimum travel comfort and convenience; and Swiss First and Swiss Business passengers and higher-level Miles & More members can also take full advantage of SWISS's spacious and attractive airport lounge facilities.
