Professional diversity

Our employees represent a colourful mix of personalities – a varied and versatile team in many fields of activities that all come under the heading of “Ground”: activities that are not in direct association with the aircraft. Individual professional qualifications for these activities are as important as a broad range of experience ranging from curiosity, openness and a willingness to learn, to striving for continuous process optimisations.

    Human Resources & General Counsel

"We see ourselves as an internal service provider who offers simple solutions even for complex problems. That’s is why we need creative people who are not afraid to put a finger on sore points – but then are also able to see how to solve problems or improve sequences."

What we offer and what is important to us

Our multi-talented Human Resources Team exists solely for our employees. The people in HR support the line managers: recruiting new staff, efficient personnel administration, running a precise payroll and tasks on every aspect of our employees’ health and well-being. We evaluate our employees’ development requirements, and plan and implement the appropriate measures.

Medical Services offer unique services in aviation, travel and industrial medicine. Our medical practitioners, practice and administration assistants deal mainly with the regular health checks required for flight deck and cabin crew, as well as advising all members of staff on health/medical issues associated with their line of profession. SWISS Medical Services also operates a public immunisation centre and offers advice on various medical issues associated with travelling.

As the service centre and conscience at SWISS, the office and various departments of the General Counsel offer support in the fields of law, internal audit, risk management and compliance, and are responsible for SWISS’s position in the areas of politics and the environment. We also make sure that the rules of the game are observed, and safeguard the content and formal quality of decision-making processes.
