What is the meaning of Codeshare?
Code-share is when several airlines co-operate together using the aircraft of one of their airlines to operate the flight. The flight, however, will carry the flight numbers of the two or more airlines in cooperation with each other. The advantages for the passengers are better connections, lower fares, shorter booking times and quicker baggage handling. It is, however, to be noted that check-in at the airport is usually handled by the operating flight carrier.
