Can I transport my bike as checked baggage?
Yes, you can take along your bike when travelling in addition to your normal baggage allowance. You have to advise us in advance about it by calling a
SWISS office
near you. A flat charge will be levied on the bike depending on the route. For flights within Europe te amount is of CHF 110 (EUR 70). For most intercontinental flights, the fee is CHF 220 (EUR 150) or equivalent in local currency per way. At the check-in you will receive a protective cover for your bike.
