India is often described as poor and dirty, looked up as a developing country in which street urchins beg on the side of the road and millions of people dwell in slums. All of these images are present in Mumbai, but so is the complete opposite. The city is also home to heroes from Bollywood movies, star cricketers and wealthy Bohemians. Trendy boutiques, cool cafés, chic restaurants and elegant luxury hotels are all found here.
