Stress-free arrival and departure, airtrain Zurich-Basel
Start your journey by coming to the airport on an SBB train. For example, you can book your train journey together with your flight out of Zurich or Basel. The train station is located right in the centre of Zurich airport and is marked out clearly.
Airtrain: Is a shuttle service by SWISS and the Swiss National Railways (SBB) between Zurich airport and Basel central station for passengers with a SWISS ticket for a flight from/to EuroAirport Basel via Zurich. The airtrain is operated 16 times a day, the journey takes around 80 minutes.

Are you parking at the airport? It is so easy with the valet parking service by Europcar. You park your car in one of the reserved parking lots at Zurich, Basel or Geneva airport and deposit your key at the valet parking counter. Top connections to the whole world from gate A and B, for European and North African flights, and gate E for long-haul flights, the SWISS flight operations ensure that your journey will be as smooth as possible. One of our primary tasks is to optimize all connections, including all SWISS flights from the gates A and E as well as most Star Alliance flights – please note the information at the airport.

- SWISS First Class Check-in Lounge
The new SWISS First Check-in Lounge (225 m²) offers four check-in counters in a self-contained area separate from the terminal. Visitors will find an elegant "room-in-room" design reminiscent of an aircraft fuselage, along with comfortable seating and improved service.
We will assist you in your preparations – including check in, pick up tickets ordered ahead, change a booking, pay for excess baggage, arrange the valet parking service or serve champagne and coffee on request. Enjoy our exclusive service in VIP standard.
- Nursery and Children’s Play Centres: big treats for little guests
Our youngest customers will find a wonderful world of toys and games to make their time fly by at Zurich Airport. The Nursery and Children’s Play Centres in the Transit A and Dock E areas offer stuffed animals, rocking horses, building bricks, doll strollers and wooden train sets to while away the wait, along with play tables, balls, mats, slides and computer games.
Travellers with infants will welcome the changing tables complete with baby care products, meal-warming facilities, high chairs and playpens. There’s also a breastfeeding room complete with small beds for baby to rest before the flight. And baby food, juices, bottles, pacifiers and diapers are all available at very reasonable prices.
Free staffed facilities open daily from 06:30 to 22:00 in Transit A
and from 07:00 to 20:00 in Dock E.
