If your baggage exceeds the weight limit indicated in your ticket, SWISS offers you the following conditions.
Do you know in advance with how much excess baggage you will be carrying? Ask our reservation service to calculate the extra costs for you. If you have 100 kg or more in excess baggage, thank you for informing us when making your reservation.
Tip: Passengers with excess baggage are advised to check in 20 minutes before the recommended check-in time.

Send baggage as cargo
If your baggage exceeds the free baggage allowance and you do not need it to be carried on the same aircraft, we recommend the favourable freight rates of Swiss WorldCargo.
Please note that all formalities and costs (customs and clearance at the airport of destination) are your own responsibility.
