OBJECTS PROHIBITED IN CARRY-ON BAGGAGE   

For reasons of safety, certain items may not be carried in your hand baggage. Such items should be placed in your checked baggage:

Weapons and blades, except for sporting and hunting weapons
  • Weapons of all kinds, including imitations and toys
  • Knives of all kinds
  • Razor blades
  • Metal scissors
Sporting goods of a striking nature
  • Baseball bats
  • Golf clubs
  • Billiard queues
  • Other similar striking objects
  • Ski poles
Other
  • Corkscrews
  • Screwdrivers
  • Knitting needles
  • Bicycle chains
  • Walking sticks with metal tips
  • Ice picks

All dangerous objects will be confiscated by airport security. SWISS is not liable for the confiscated objects. These regulations also apply to objects purchased at the airport.
