At the airports in Zurich, Basel, Geneva and London City, check-in machines
(Quick check-in) offer SWISS passengers an elegant way to save time.
Your Quick check-in is as easy as this
Do you have an e-ticket? If so, you have four options:
- enter your 13-digit e-ticket number
- identify yourself using your passport or ID card and select your flight
- insert your Miles&More card or credit card in the machines and select your flight
- scan the barcode printed on your e-ticket (this does not appear on all e-tickets)
Do you have a paper flight ticket?
- insert your flight ticket into the machines with the magnetic strip facing downwards
Then follow the instructions on the display and select your seat - aisle or window. Within a few seconds, the self check-in kiosk will print out your boarding pass.
Take advantage of the increased comfort of this check-in service:
- Identification: The system recognises German and French passports.
- Multiple access, “rework” function: As a SWISS passenger, you are able to access the check-in process several times. Whether you've already checked in at a counter or online, the system will recognise you automatically at our check-in points. Use your credit card, Miles & More number, e-ticket or barcode to access the system. Carry out your desired changes and print these out, including any additional luggage labels.
- Group check-in, “buddy check-in” function: Check in up to a maximum of 9 people. The software identifies each passenger separately. Identical flight details such as flight numbers and classes are required for this service. The rework function checks in all passengers separately (group check-in is no longer possible).
Are you travelling with hand baggage only? Go straight to the gate with your boarding pass - up to 30 minutes before the departure.
