STEP 1: Your identification
When using Web Check-in log in with your first and last names, the booking number or the number of your e-ticket.

Following the instructions displayed for Web check-in and choose your seats. If the entry authorities at your destination need more information from your passport, you will automatically be asked to enter it during the Web check-in process.

You also have the option of extended check-in using your Miles&More or credit card and for passengers with reservations with Lufthansa or other partner airlines. 

For families and groups of up to 5 people: if the tickets were all booked together we will display the names of all the travellers. You can check them in, too.

For groups of up to 9 people: if you are flying in the same class, you can use the function “additional passenger” to check in your fellow travellers.


STEP 2: Your boarding pass
You can print out your boarding pass with all the main flight information for yourself, or you can have the mobile boarding pass and all the details sent to your mobile phone.

For families and groups: print out everyone’s boarding passes at the end of Web check-in.


STEP 3: Quickest and easiest way onto the aircraft
Check in your luggage at a separate counter and go straight to the departure gate with your boarding pass – without having to wait anywhere.

If you are unable to print out your boarding pass when you use Web check-in, go to the counter at the airport. Don’t forget to look out for the latest check-in times.
