Conditions for seat selection

Depending on your route and travel class, we offer you the option to reserve a seat up to 48 hours before departure. You can choose your seat during your booking, or later using your profile and the seat map.

The conditions for choosing your seat in advance are:

• The flight must be operated by SWISS
• You are flying Business Class on European routes or
• You are flying on an intercontinental route with at least 25% of Economy Class seats still available
• You are not travelling with infants (0-2 years)

You can state your seat preference (window, aisle) for all other flights, as usual in the booking step "personal data".

Please note that the chosen seat cannot be guaranteed as it may need to be changed for operational reasons (e.g. aircraft changes).

SWISS reserves the right not to release seats for operational reasons.

Special conditions for Miles & More status customers

We offer preferred seats exclusively for Miles & More status customers (HON, SEN) on intercontinental routes. Log in using your Miles & More profile to book these seats.
