Terms of use of Gift Card

• Gift Cards are sold only in Swiss francs.
• The purchase of a Gift Card entitles the holder to use it in payment when booking a flight through www.swiss.com. The ​Terms of use of SWISS apply.
• Gift Cards are available while stocks last.
• Validity: Gift Cards must be redeemed within five years from the date of purchase
• In every instance, the purchase of a Gift Card is subject to Swiss material law.

• Unless indicated otherwise on the Gift Card, it is valid for all flights departing from Switzerland with SWISS flight numbers (LX) within the entire SWISS route network. These are flights that are operated by SWISS or partner airlines.
• Gift Cards can only be redeemed on www.swiss.com
• Up to three Gift Cards can be used for one booking.
• Unless indicated otherwise on the Gift Card, the Gift Card is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase
• Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for their cash value. Gift Cards can only be reimbursed if reimbursable tickets of the same extent are booked. They cannot be reimbursed for cash.
• If a Gift Card value exceeds the grand total of the booking, the remaining balance can be used for future bookings. The remaining value cannot be exchanged for cash. See also 4. See also chapter “How to use a remaining balance“ below.
• If a Gift Card value is lower than the grand total of the booking, the difference can be paid by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
• The carrier is Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. Redemption of a Gift Card and the procurement of a ticket constitutes a Contract of Carriage between the holder and SWISS provided the booking was made correctly at www.swiss.com.

• The booked flight is subject to the tariff conditions, which can be seen when booking at www.swiss.com.
• The number of seats on flights is limited. Availability can be checked at www.swiss.com.

Select the flights of your choice at swiss.com.

1. When you get to the "Choose your Payment Method" step, choose “Voucher / Gift Card” under “Payment Options”.
2. Once you have filled in all mandatory fields and clicked on "Pay now" at the bottom, you will be redirected to a page where you can enter the Gift Card number.  
3. Enter the Gift Card number and click on "Retrieve Gift Card". You will be shown the Gift Card redemption summary.
4. Proceed with the payment of any possible remaining balance by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
5. If the value of the Gift Card exceeds the grand total of the booking you can use the remaining balance for your next booking. For details see chapter “How to use a remaining balance” below.

• Keep your Gift Card code with you and next time you will book a SWISS flight enter your Gift Card code in the Gift Card redeem section on the payment page.
• The same rules and conditions as for the initial Gift Card code apply for its remaining value.
• The remaining value will be shown to you and it will be deducted from your grand total.
