  1. On which flights can I book A la carte dining?

    On all long-haul flights in Economy Class from Zurich or Geneva, excluding flights to Cairo, Tel Aviv and Shanghai.

  2. Until when can I book A la carte dining on my flight?

    A la carte dining can be booked up to 24 hours before departure.

  3. Can I order wine without A la carte dining?

    Wine can only be booked in conjunction with A la carte dining.

  4. Why am I unable to book à la carte dining on an available route?

    Only a limited number of A la carte dining meals can be booked on a flight. If the option is unavailable, the service will be blocked out on swiss.com.

  5. Once I have booked A la carte dining, can I cancel it or be refunded for it later?

    It is not possible to cancel this option or be refunded for it later.

  6. If I change my flight, will my à la carte meal be included?

    Provided the new flight offers à la carte dining, the booked service will be included in the change.However, a booking for à la carte dining can only be changed through the Service Center.

  7. Is it possible to book A la carte dining for children (6-12) or infants (0-2)?

    A la carte dining without wine is available for children. We do not offer A la carte dining for infants.

  8. On which service will I receive my A la carte dining meal?

    A la carte dining is offered with the service after departure, to replace the first regular Economy Class service.The second service before landing consists of the regular Economy service.

  9. May I add my own requests to A la carte dining?

    A la carte dining can only be ordered as offered. It is not possible to make any adjustments to the meal.

  10. Will I be reimbursed if the flight is cancelled?

    SWISS will try to change your à la carte dining to your new flight. If this is not possible, the meal will be refunded in full. If the refund is not made automatically within 2 weeks after the event, please contact our Refunds Department by phone on +41 61 582 3654 between 9:00 and 12:00 hrs, Mon-Tue/Thu-Fri.

  11. May an A la carte dining meal differ from the one illustrated?

    Basically no, but in the event of any ingredients being unavailable, it is possible that we might have to make substitutes for individual menu components in exceptional cases.It is also possible that the served dishes may vary slightly from those illustrated.

  12. Is it possible to combine à la carte dining and a special meal?

    You are welcome to add a special meal (e.g. vegetarian) to your booking. If you wish to add à la carte dining to a flight, that flight's à la carte options will be served. On all other flights, the special meal of your choice will be served.

  13. If I lose the e-document, can I request a new one and, if so, where can I download it?

    You can be sent a new e-document through SWISS.COM/PROFILE.

  14. Will I receive A la carte dining in addition to the normal meal?

    No. A la carte dining replaces the normal main course.
