    There must be at least 10 passengers for group rates to apply.

  2. What is the maximum number of passengers that can be booked as a group at swiss.com?

    Up to 40 passengers can be booked at SWISS.com. For information about groups of more than 40 passengers, please contact our service center.

  3. Which flights are eligible for group bookings on swiss.com?

    On swiss.com, you can book one-way flights (outbound only) or return flights (outbound and return) that are operated by SWISS or on behalf of SWISS.

  4. Can open jaw flights or flights with several stopovers be booked for more than 10 passengers on swiss.com?

    No, this option is currently not available. For more information, contact our service center.

  5. Can individual passengers travel separately from the group?

    Yes, but the entire group must travel together on at least one flight.

  6. Can miles be collected with a group booking?

    Yes, SWISS allows miles to be collected for group travel.

  7. Can miles be collected for the whole group with one Miles & More number?

    No, miles can only be collected for the individual Miles & More account.

  8. Can several credit cards be used to pay for the tickets?

    No, it is not currently possible to pay with several credit cards at SWISS.com.

  9. What payment options are available when paying for tickets at SWISS.com?

    As well as the usual payment options, SWISS.com also accepts the "bank transfer" payment method.

  10. How does the "bank transfer" payment method work?

    When you make your booking, a specific amount is charged to your credit/debit card as a deposit. The balance can then be paid later by bank transfer.

  11. Is the deposit refunded if the tickets are not paid for by bank transfer within the set time limit?

    No, the deposit is not refunded.

  12. Can a flight ticket be transferred to anyone else?

    Yes, a different passenger can take your seat. Passenger names can be added or changed free of charge within a certain period. Once the ticket has been issued, a charge will occur for name changes.

  13. Do I have to provide all group members' named at the time of booking?

    No, when you make the booking, you only have to enter one passengers' name. All other passenger names can be entered later on.

  14. Can you increase or reduce the number of people in a group booking at SWISS.com?

    No, there can be no increase or reduction in the number of people in group bookings on swiss.com.

  15. Can miles be used to upgrade with a group rate?

    No, it is not possible to use miles to upgrade for group tickets at swiss.com.

  16. If special menus or additional baggage items have already been booked, are these automatically transferred to the other person in the event of a name change?

    No, if special menus or additional baggage items have already been booked, they are not automatically transferred to the other person in the event of a name change.

  17. When are the tickets issued?

    As soon as payment is complete and all passengers are entered, you, the trip organiser, can issue the tickets yourself on swiss.com.

  18. Can a group using a group fare take more baggage?

    The free baggage allowance for the group booking is no different to individual bookings. For more information, see Free baggage allowance.

  19. What are the check-in options?

    As well as checking in on swiss.com, the group can check-in at the airport.

  20. Do you have to be at the airport earlier for a group check-in?

    If large groups are involved, we recommend arriving at the airport early. The recommended check-in times also apply to groups. Groups checking in at a special group check-in desk will be informed individually about check-in times.

  21. Can a group check-in the night before?

    It is possible to check in the night before if all passengers are present to check in.

  22. Can I reserve seats in advance?

    For EU IATA destinations, advanced seating is offered free of charge or against payment depending on the product option chosen (LIGHT / CLASSIC / BUSINESS). For intercontinental destinations, a block of seats is automatically reserved for groups.
