The next Connoisseur Experience will take place from 20 August to 2 September 2025 – for two weeks, our SWISS First guests will be treated to a Steakhouse experience.

Steakhouse Weeks on board SWISS First: a culinary classic above the clouds
From 20 August to 2 September 2025, we invite SWISS First guests to our latest Connoisseur Weeks, inspired by the unmistakable charm of the classic steakhouse. Available on all long-haul flights departing from Zurich and Geneva, this culinary experience celebrates quality ingredients and bold flavors.
Swiss quality and local specialities play a starring role in our Steakhouse Weeks. We proudly feature an exquisite veal rib chop by LUMA, a Swiss premium meat brand renowned for blending traditional butcher’s craft with innovative dry-aging techniques – allowing the meat to develop extraordinary tenderness and a distinctive flavor profile.
Alongside a selection of traditional sauces, we also serve the local Tsüri Sauce – a Zurich original crafted in small, numbered batches by chef Christian Heusser. With subtle notes of pineapple, whiskey, black pepper, garlic and a hint of chili, the sauce is celebrated for its regional authenticity and creative balance of sweet, smoky and spicy flavors.
In addition to these Swiss highlights, we invite SWISS First guests to enjoy a full variety of steakhouse specialties in the skies. The culinary journey begins with a Caesar salad, served with a choice of grilled chicken, prawns, or veal bacon. For the main course, a curated selection of premium cuts awaits – including a tender beef rib-eye steak, a flavorful buffalo sirloin, and the exquisite LUMA veal rib chop. These are accompanied by a generous choice of steakhouse-inspired sides such as baked potato, mashed sweet potato, BBQ baked beans, corn on the cob, potato wedges, grilled zucchini and peppers, and marinated mushrooms. A variety of refined sauces – including red wine jus, herb butter, chimichurri, the local Tsüri Sauce, and Sel des Alpes Suisse – complete the experience. To finish, guests are treated to a true American classic: a smooth and creamy slice of cheesecake.

Vegetarians can enjoy everything they could wish for on our intercontinental flights from Switzerland. The dishes are created by Restaurant Hiltl in Zurich, the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world.

Our guests in SWISS First can enjoy the exclusive Cuvée Louise from Maison Pommery, either as a welcome drink or to enjoy during the flight. This champagne represents absolute purity and embodies the essence of the oenological skills of Maison Pommery. It is carefully sourced from the vineyard’s best locations and pressed especially gently to capture the purest flavours. Its 15-year maturation in natural chalk cellars gives it incomparable harmony and fascinating complexity.
