When you book both Departures and Arrivals services together you can travel light and make the most of your time as Airportr handle door-to-door transport of your luggage. This service is now available to customers travelling on the following routes:

• London Heathrow or Vienna to Geneva with SWISS or Austrian

• London Heathrow or Vienna to Zurich with SWISS or Austrian

• Between Geneva and Zurich with SWISS

Can I check in my buggy, pushchair, or car seat with Airportr?

Yes, SWISS allows passengers travelling with children to check in items like pushchairs or car seats for free. However, it is your responsibility to check allowance on your ticket.

 

How does Airportr treat these items?

While the airline may check in these items free of charge, Airportr considers them regular baggage. They must be included in the total number of items on your booking.

 

What should I do when handing over these items to the driver?

Please ensure that all items are clearly marked and identified for our driver, so they can be assigned under your infant or child's baggage allowance when checked in with SWISS.

 

Can I use my buggy or stroller at the airport?

If you need to use your buggy or stroller while at the airport, we advise against handing it over to Airportr, as Airportr will not be able to return it to you once collected.

Can I check-in sports equipment with Airportr?

Yes, Airportr can transport and check-in sports equipment such as golf clubs, ski equipment, and bicycles for a flat fee of CHF 10.- per booking.

 

What do I need to do before using Airportr for my sports equipment?

You must ensure that SWISS allows you to check-in your selected sports equipment and that you have pre-approved and booked them. If it's not already pre-booked, your airline may not accept them.

 

Will I need to provide proof when my items are collected?

Yes, you may be asked to present proof that your sports equipment is booked with your SWISS during collection. If you cannot provide this proof, Airportr may not be able to collect your bicycle or other sports equipment.

 

Are there any restrictions on the type of sports equipment I can check in?

While Airportr can collect various sports equipment, please note that Airportr cannot accept e-bikes. 

Each sports equipment bag generally must weigh no more than 32 kg.

Can Airportr collect my medical equipment?

Yes, Airportr can collect medical equipment approved by SWISS.

 

What should I do before traveling with medical equipment?

You must notify SWISS in advance about your medical equipment. Once approved, ask SWISS to add a note to your booking and provide you with an email confirmation.

 

Will I need to show proof of approval when my items are collected?

Yes, our driver may request to see the email confirmation from your airline during collection.

 

What if my medical equipment is unusually large?

If your item is unusually large, please contact Airportr Customer Support to ensure we have a suitable vehicle for transporting the equipment.

You can enter your promotion code on the payment page during the booking process. Simply click on the ‘Promo code?’ tile, input your code, and it will be applied to your basket price on the confirmation and checkout page.

If your code isn’t working, first ensure that it’s meant for new customers. If it is, check for errors in the email address used and that you haven’t registered with the same email address in a previous booking with Airportr.

Generally, only one promotion code can be applied per booking. Please refer to the terms and conditions for specific details on combining offers.
