SWISS Business

Enhancements to inflight product and services

SWISS Business Europe

  • There’s now more reason than ever to choose SWISS Business for your next flight! With their refurbished cabins and new ergonomic seats, you’ll travel in even greater Business Class comfort on all our Airbus A320s and A321s from the end of March onwards.

We’ll also guarantee you an empty adjacent seat on all our European flights from the end of March, for greater personal privacy. And as a further appealing extra, from the end of July our SWISS Business guests will be picked up from the aircraft in their own exclusive bus at selected European airports. And we’ve got more SWISS Business privileges in the pipeline, too: like the brand-new 2000-square-metre Business and Senator Lounges, which will open in Zurich Airport’s Dock E towards the end of this year.

SWISS Business intercontinental

  • SWISS is at an advanced stage in enhancing its Business Class product on intercontinental flights, with some innovations already in place and others soon to be introduced. Having modified service procedures in June of this year, including the offer of a choice between a quick or full meal service, SWISS is now focussing on a range of further enhancements for a December debut.

  • On daytime flights as of December, Business Class passengers will now enjoy a wider range of choice of salad dressing and first course dishes, along with an individualised cheese service to delight their taste buds.

  • A new pre-arrival meal service is also slated for introduction at the same time, which will add a different dimension to the inflight experience.

  • Meal presentation is about to become even more appealing thanks to the introduction of exclusive new tableware created by the Greutmann Bolzern Design Studio in line with SWISS specifications, the first tableware in the airline’s history.

  • Not only do the attractive new cutlery, glassware and trays reflect the SWISS corporate design, the new china is a significant 20% lighter than the material it is replacing, a key environmental consideration.

  • Complementing the enhancements to the inflight dining experience is a variety of improved amenity kits. During the summer, amenity kit bags made from 100% recycled PET material of varying sizes and designs will be distributed.

  • The winter kits will come with a beanie or neck-warmer which passengers can enjoy long after their flight.

  • Improved comfort is a hallmark of the upgraded kit contents in the form of thicker socks with anti-slip treads, larger and more comfortable eyeshades and an improved toothbrush set.

SWISS is convinced that this updated inflight meal presentation combined with an attentive service and greater individual choice will add up to an even more enjoyable flight experience for guests in Business Class on short and long-haul flights.
