Swiss International Air Lines will be adding a new seasonal Basel-Venice service to its schedules on 1 July. The new four-times-weekly flights will provide convenient non-stop service between the city (and the surrounding Veneto region in Northern Italy, which is very popular with vacationers) and EuroAirport Basel. Venice brings to ten the destinations served bySWISS from Basel with its own equipment.
“Bella Italia” will be coming to EuroAirport Basel in time for the summer season. From 1 July to 22 August, SWISS will offer four weekly flights to Venice, with its unique ambience and its centuries of cultural heritage. The new service will also provide convenient access to the famous Veneto holiday region, with its fascinating lagoons and its extensive sandy beaches. With the Dolomites and picturesque vineyards also within easy reach, the new route offers a gateway to the most varied of vacations in this intriguing part of Northern Italy.
SWISS is also offering Italy-lovers special introductory fares of as little as CHF 129* on its new Basel-Venice route. The introductory offer can be booked between 4 and 23 May for travel between 1 July and 22 August.

In combination with SWISS’s services from and to Zurich, travellers from EuroAirport Basel can now choose between 25 weekly services to Venice.Basel-based travellers can reach Zurich Airport conveniently with the hourly “Flugzug” train or daily by air. Tickets for the new Basel-Venice service can alsobe combined with via-Zurich routings.
