US ESTA ApplicatIon

Increased Requirements

US ESTA Application

On November 3, 2004, Homeland Security U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a release ( ) announcing new requirements under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). As a consequence, additional information must be provided by travelers wishing to enter the US using the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). These new requirements should not impact on airlines operations, nor should they generate additional delays/disruptions, but passengers may require additional information in particular if they were used to the previous ESTA format. Note that travelers who have already applied for an ESTA do NOT need to submit another application.
