Easter with SWISS
Win an Easter basket and sample the new SWISS on-board chocolate
Did you know that the new chocolate SWISS serves on board is produced by FREY? The renowned Swiss chocolatier produces more than 43,000 tonnes of chocolate annually. That’s roughly the equivalent weight of 156 Airbus A340 long-haul aircraft. Per second, FREY produces 4 bars of chocolate. If joined together, the entire output would extend over 29,000 km, or ¾ of the circumference of the Earth.
SWISS officially introduces the new on-board chocolate at the beginning of April. Our Easter Bunny will send an Easter basket full of goodies, including some of our own new SWISS chocolate, to the first five contest participants. Simply send us an e-mail to email@example.com. Be quick and receive one of five SWISS Easter baskets.
Termination of Preferred Fare Model as of 30 April 2015
In 2008 SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa launched the Preferred Fare Model in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Since then all fares for flights departing from these countries have been available as published and unpublished (Preferred Fares). The unpublished Preferred Fares areCHF 50(for a return flight) cheaper than published fares.
In preparation for the new European fare concept of Lufthansa Group, which will be introduced from summer 2015, the Preferred Fare Model will be terminated on 30 April 2015. All travel agencies who have participated in the Preferred Fare Model will receive postal notification of termination in good time.
On 5 May 2015 the Preferred Fares will be removed from computer reservation systems (CRS) and the published fares reduced by CHF 50 (for a return flight). This means that from this date all standard pricing requests for SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa fares must once again refer to published fares, and the two kinds of fare listings will no longer apply. Thereafter unpublished fares will only be available as corporate rates or tour operator fares, for example.
In the case of re-bookings or changes to Preferred Fare tickets after 5 May 2015, the standard calculation rules for ticket changes apply.

Introducing SWISS Upgrade Bargain

•Passengers booked within a group of more than 9 people
