As a company that operates globally, SWISS is committed to identifying, minimising and preventing risks relating to child labour in its own business operations and along the supply chain.
Child labour
SWISS is guided by the statutory regulations, key international conventions and declarations such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the core labour standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the IATA Resolution on combating human trafficking.
Risk management and risk analysis
SWISS has put in place a range of tools and procedures to identify, minimise and prevent risks relating to child labour in its own business operations and along its supply chain.
Whistleblower system
SWISS is reliant on information provided in order to identify, minimise and prevent risks relating to child labour as early as possible. SWISS employees and third parties have several complaints channels available to them: for example, they can contact the Human Rights Office of the Lufthansa Group directly via an electronic whistleblower system or through an external ombudsperson.
Reporting
SWISS is included in the report prepared by Deutsche Lufthansa Aktiengesellschaft in accordance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). SWISS will publish the report here.
