SWISS at the Lauberhorn: an exclusive short film

Once again this year, Swiss International Air Lines served as Official Partner of the Lauberhorn International Ski Races, which were held in Wengen in Switzerland’s Bernese Oberland from 15 to 18 January. In this fourth consecutive year of the partners’ collaboration, SWISS also provided a new VIP Lounge in the finish area in which some 500 invitees could enjoy this unique winter sports event. SWISS also contributed a further highlight of Lauberhorn 2015 with the two flypasts by one of its Airbus A320s, accompanied by the F-5E Tigers of the Patrouille Suisse. And a short film has now been produced of this spectacular alpine airshow.

Of the many impressive moments that made up the 85th Lauberhorn Ski Races last month, the two flypasts by SWISS Airbus A320 HB-JLT accompanied by the six F-5E Tigers of Swiss Air Force display team the Patrouille Suisse were undoubtedly among the best. And SWISS has now produced a short film of the shows’ most spectacular moments, from footage shot by over 20 cameras both in the air and on the ground.

The short SWISS film offers a glimpse behind the scenes of the whole exercise, too, as well as views of the shows from previously-unseen perspectives, including cockpit views of the nine pilots involved. The HD-quality film has been compiled from over 60 hours of footage, and features a soundtrack that has been specially composed for the occasion.
