Stefan Vasic assumed his new duties as a media spokesman for Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) at the beginning of April. Vasic, who is 29 and a Swiss national, began his SWISS career as a flight attendant in 2007. He went on to hold various functions in Cabin Crew Management, most recently Manager Cabin Crew Communications.
“I am delighted that, in Stefan Vasic, we have secured the services from our own ranks of an experienced communicator with an extensive knowledge of our flight operations and of the broader airline industry,” says Daniel Bärlocher, Head of Corporate Communications. Vasic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration.
Current media spokesman Mehdi Guenin will be leaving SWISS at the end of this month. In addition to his representative function, Guenin has been instrumental in developing the company’s in-house SWISS TV channel, for which he has also produced numerous features and reports.
The further members of the SWISS Media Relations team under Daniel Bärlocher are Karin Müller and Sonja Ptassek.
