SWISS appoints Meike Fuhlrott to its Media Relations team

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has appointed Meike Fuhlrott to its Zurich-based Media Relations team. Fuhlrott, who is 42 and a German national, took up her new duties at the beginning of August.


Meike Fuhlrott comes to SWISS from A.T. Kearney. She spent seven years with the management consultancy, most recently as Marketing & Communications Manager for its Zurich operation with responsibility for all Swiss marketing and communications activities. She also held further communications positions (including media spokeswoman roles) for various reputed companies and a PR agency between 2000 and 2008.

“I am delighted we have secured the services of such a seasoned communicator,” says Daniel Bärlocher, Head of SWISS Corporate Communications. “Meike brings extensive experience to her new post, not only as a media spokesperson but also in the PR field.”

Meike Fuhlrott is bilingual (in German and French), having grown up in Geneva. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, UK. She joins Karin Müller, Sonja Ptassek and Stefan Vasic in Daniel Bärlocher’s Media Relations team.
