SWISS introduces new advance-purchase vouchers for airport lounge access and internet on board

29 November 2016

SWISS now offers its Economy Class travellers the option of obtaining access to the SWISS Business Lounges in advance of their flight. SWISS guests can also now pre-purchase vouchers for using the wireless internet facilities aboard the carrier’s Boeing 777s.

SWISS Economy customers wishing to work in peace, relax and/or enjoy the culinary attractions offered by SWISS’s airport lounges can now obtain a Lounge Voucher for CHF 39 exclusively via swiss.com. The new option, which is introduced today, is available to travellers holding a SWISS, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines or Edelweiss ticket, and grants access to any SWISS Business Departure Lounge in Zurich or Geneva on the date of their departure. The offer also extends to the new SWISS Business Class Lounge in Zurich Airport’s Terminal E with its open spaces, relaxation areas with specially-developed loungers and front cooking facilities.

In a further innovation, SWISS now also enables its customers to purchase a voucher prior to their flight for a SWISS Connect data package, with which they can make quick and convenient use of the wireless internet facilities aboard the SWISS Boeing 777 fleet. The vouchers can also be obtained as a gift for others. Three data package options are available, ranging from 20 to 120MB and permitting the user to surf and email aloft. The SWISS Connect wireless inflight internet facilities will also be available throughout the SWISS Airbus A330 fleet by spring 2017 and aboard the carrier’s Airbus A340s, too, from 2018.

The new vouchers for both SWISS Connect and airport lounge access can be purchased exclusively at www.swiss.com/swisschoice
