EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg will be throwing its sixtieth birthday party on Saturday, October 28. And SWISS will be joining in the celebrations – first and foremost by operating two sightseeing flights whose proceeds will be donated to the Theodora and Rote Nasen charities. SWISS will also be taking the opportunity to present its new Basel-based network.
EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is celebrating its sixtieth birthday, and SWISS is joining the party. Switzerland’s airline will have its own stand at the festivities offering an exciting programme for young and old alike. The highlights here will include a competition with prizes of twelve pairs of tickets to the destinations currently served by SWISS’s Basel-based network.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets for one of two 45-minute sightseeing flights over the Alps which SWISS will be operating. The first of these will depart at 14:00, and the second departure will be at 16:15. Anyone wishing to take one of these flights will need to have their passport or identity card with them.
Tickets for the sightseeing flights can be booked for a donation of CHF 50. All the proceeds will be passed on to the Theodora and Rote Nasen (“Red Nose”) charities, whose work is focused on children in homes and hospitals and on helping to make their stays there as enjoyable as possible. SWISS will be generously rounding up the total amount raised and donating these funds, too, to the two charities.
A clown will also be on hand at the SWISS stand to keep the youngest visitors engrossed. This professional entertainer will also be drawn from the Theodora organisation.
