SWISS to offer summer Basel-Nice flights


Swiss International Air Lines will be providing a four-times-weekly service this summer between EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg and Nice. The new seasonal flights, which will operate from 1 July to 22 August, will supplement SWISS’s regular services from and to Basel during the holiday season. Nice is the third destination in Southern Europe that SWISS will serve from Basel, joining Barcelona and Rome (from 27 March).

Customers wishing to enjoy the delights of the South of France this summer can also benefit from attractive all-in Basel-Nice round-trip fares of as little asCHF 99*. The special introductory offer is bookable until 28 March for travel between 1 July and 22 August.

1 July to 19 August 2011:
Basel - Nice LX 544 Thursdays and Fridays 06:25 – 07:45
Nice - Basel LX 545 Thursdays and Fridays 08:15 – 09:30

1 July to 22 August 2011:
Basel - Nice LX 544 Mondays and Fridays 19:50 – 21:10

In the 2011 summer schedules SWISS and its Star Alliance codeshare partners Lufthansa, bmi, Austrian Airlines and Turkish Airlines will provide non-stop service from Basel to 15 destinations: Rome, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Barcelona, Prague, Brussels, Zurich, Budapest, London (Heathrow), Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Vienna and Istanbul. Between them, the Star Alliance partners will offer 196 flights a week, i.e. most of the services to and from the EuroAirport.
