Smart Upgrade available on full Austrian route network
After introducing Smart Upgrade on long- and medium-haul flights, Austrian extends its offer to the entire network, effective 1 July. From now on, your customers have the opportunity to bid for an upgrade to Austrian Business class on all scheduled OS flights.
After booking an Austrian economy class ticket, a personal bid for an Upgrade can be submitted via austrian.com. 72 hours prior to departure Austrian informs the customer via e-mail whether or not the offer has been accepted.

First ever nonstop service between Houston and Santiago, Chile
United is expanding its already substantial presence in Latin America with daily service between Houston (IAH) and Santiago, Chile (SCL), beginning 7 December, 2014.
The route will be serviced by Boeing 767-300 aircraft featuring 30 flat-bed seats in United BusinessFirst and 184 seats in United Economy, including 49 extra-legroom United Economy Plus seats.
Flights from Santiago are timed to provide convenient connections beyond Houston to 111 airports across the U.S. and more than 60 international destinations. United operates more than 700 flights a week to 62 cities in 28 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
