With the SWISS app, you can check in, you always have your mobile boarding pass to hand and you receive personal notifications about your flight directly on your smartphone.

Preparing for your trip

Online check-in

Check in conveniently via our website or the SWISS app from 24 hours before departure. Simply download your mobile boarding pass to your mobile phone so you have it easily to hand at all times.

If SWISS has your contact details, you will be checked in automatically 20 hours before departure and you will receive your boarding pass by e-mail or text. You can change your preferences under “My bookings”.

Check in the day before

Use the opportunity at some airports to check in your bags the day before to save yourself valuable time on the day of your departure.

Please also allow enough time to check in your bags the day before.

Get flight status updates

Stay up-to-date with the latest information about your flight. Enter your flight number to get all the relevant information about your flight.

Baggage preparation

Identify your bags with an address tag (name, mobile number and e-mail address) and attach the contact form. Please note our hand baggage rules and keep your hand baggage to a minimum to minimise waiting times.
