In just a few years, Dubai has been transformed from a pearl-diving village into a modern metropolis of superlatives. Luxury hotels, artificial island groups in the form of a palm tree, oversized shopping malls, unbelievable gourmet palaces and countless options for sport – Dubai is all that.

It is a perfect fairytale country, and an unforgettable holiday dream. No one is ever prepared to put up with the mediocre in Dubai. The Grandstand Stables have only the fastest and most expensive horses; the underground is one of the most modern in the world; the bus stops are air conditioned, and every evening a spectacular water ballet is performed outside the Dubai Mall.

The 828-metre Burj Khalifa with the breathtaking At.mosphere restaurant on the 122nd floor competes with the sea to see which sparkles the brightest; far beyond is the desert – dry and barren, but somehow also magical and with more than a hint of adventure about it. Dubai is a man-made fairytale world that absorbs visitors in its unique charm. At night, the city’s fabulous lights are enchanting, and by day its fabulous beaches and the crystal sea are no less enticing.
