In Athens there is a place that you simply have got to see. Baptised internally by SWISS staff as the «Monte Uso», this place is where you must be. The way up takes you through Lykavittos Park, up hill and down dale, surrounded by a green expanse. From a certain point along the way, you will see in the distance a colosseum from antique times. Once at the top, you will be met with a restaurant where you can reward yourself with a refreshing drink after your hike. When you’ve taken your breather, walk around the building and you’ll find a chapel and a lookout point. From there you have a view of the Acropolis and the whole city all the way down to the sea. Afterwards, your way down takes you over a zigzag course on the other side of the hill. This leads directly into the old city of Athens where you can stroll through the streets.
e.g. by underground, exit at Lykavittos Station, and walk from there
