    • Palais Hotel Erzherzog Johann

      A touch of Sissi
The former Baroque palace was converted into an extremely elegant hotel in the 19th century, and offers 57 rooms and suites. Upon entering the Imperial apartments, guests feel as if they were in a film about famed Austrian empress Sissi, while those who are looking for something really unusual book the "Wanda Sacher Masoch" themed room. The heart of the establishment is the glass-covered courtyard that is now home to the traditional Café Erzherzog Johann. The perfect place to devote yourself entirely to the home-made specialities served here.

    • Augartenhotel Art&Design

      Artistic pleasure
Architecture, art, design: all are writ large here. This is evident in the clear, light-accented architecture with plenty of glass as well as in the impressive art collection of owner Helmut Marko. Before nodding off, the eye delights in a picture or sculpture, often a contemporary work of Austria origin. The furniture is the work of Andreas Thaler, winner of the Austrian design award. His remit was: Form follows function. Which means that living here is not only lovely, but also comfortable – and not just in the Penthouse.

    • Hotel zum Dom, Palais Inzaghi

      Charming boutique hotel
A delightful philosophy: "at home" is how guests in this former town house, which has a highly varied history that goes back to the 14th century, are intended to feel. The staff does everything they can to pamper every guest individually, even serving breakfast in bed if desired. The historic ambience has been carefully brought into modern times. Rococo stucco work in some of the suites and an early-Renaissance stone gate frame testify to this.

    • Wiesler

      Refreshingly unconventional
New life has consistently been breathed into these venerable Art Nouveau walls since 2010. Gently and carefully, so as not to disturb the patina. The results: an exciting mix of vintage and new. The dining room is equally popular with cosmopolitan guests and locals – on 365 days of the year. The wall murals are almost a local sight in their own right. Although we're not sure if they were already there when the Rolling Stones visited.

    • Daniel

      Modern interpretation of luxury
Design hotel? Lifestyle hotel? "Smart luxury" is usually the first description that comes to mind in this city hotel with 107 fresh, airy rooms. The Daniel Graz, which was opened in 2005, offers what guests want: rooms with a clear design and a lobby with an espresso bar to relax in. Our tip: guests who would like to experience the travel feeling in bed can book the Airstream trailer that is parked in the hotel garden, before they go riding through Graz in style on the hotel's Vespa.
