I recommend an aperitif in the Raw Bar of theUnion Oyster House.The bar is right by the entrance. Incidentally, the gentlemen who work here are all oyster experts. They include Toni, originally from Switzerland but who emigrated to the USA many years ago. He always loves to see visitors from Switzerland. There aren’t many seats at the Raw Bar – not to be confused with the big bar – and the bar itself is really old. Maybe not exactly chic, but certainly impressive. I recommend the clam chowder, the famous mussel soup with potatoes.
